The Labouchere Roulette Strategy

Henry Labouchere is a British politician and among the wealthy people of his time.  Labouchere, who is known for his fondness for roulette, has gained a reputation for his roulette strategy that he created and adopted by playing roulette at that time. This system is somewhat more complex than other roulette strategies. So it would be useful to practice a little bit before applying the system. The first stage of the system must be carried out before starting the game. You have to program your bet amount and how long you will play in advance. It will also be crucial to automatically determine how much you want to profit at the beginning of the strategy. For example, you plan to make a profit of 10 EUR  in a live roulette game and you have prepared the system accordingly. First of all, the basic rule in this system, as in other strategies, is that you can exit the system at any time, so there is a situation that you have to take to the end. Like other roulette strategies, this system should be applied on color bets such as Red / Black or roulette bets that win your chances of winning like Odd / Even, close to 50% or 2 times with the most accurate outcome.

Labouchere System Examples

If we return to our example; To make a profit of 10 EUR, you need to create a series with a total of 10. You should create this series yourself. As an example, let’s create the 1-1-2-2-1-2-1 series, you’ll find a series of 10 figures you sum the 8 digits (1 + 1 + 2 + 2 + 2 + 1 + 1 = 10). While creating this series, you can write at 5-5, everything is at your discretion, but if you create a series with lower numbers at first, you will manage your case in direct proportion to your experience. After creating this series, you take the number to the far right and left of the series and add the amount to your first bet. In our sample series, these numbers are painted in red (1 + 1 = 2). Therefore, according to this strategy, your first bet in roulette should be 2 EUR.

Let’s assume that you have won the bet of 2 EUR; your new series will be 1-2-2-1-2. In other words, when determining our first bet, the numbers on the far right and far left of the series we take as the base are subtracted from the series. Our next bet amount will be the sum of the numbers to the far right and left of our new series (1 + 2 = 3) if you win this way, you will cancel the outermost numbers and reach your goal of 10 EUR.

What if you lost in the first bet; In this case, you would not delete any number from your series, but you would add the amount you lost to the far right of the series. In our example, since the first bet is 2 EUR and the series we initially established is 1-1-2-2-1-2-1, we add 2 to the end of this series, when we lose the first hand, and our new series 1-1-2-2-1-2-1 It will be -2. Let’s give another example from the table below with another series; Let our series be 2-3-1-4-5-3;

As you can see from both examples, your first bet in the series you create is the sum of the right and left numbers. If you win, you take out those two numbers and proceed with the same logic. If you lose, you continue to convert the bet amount you lost by adding it to the far right of your series.  The most prominent feature of the Labouchere live roulette system is that you have determined the technique of your cash register management from the beginning, because you set your target in advance. Whenever you make the correct additions or stickers every time you win and lose the series, you will not increase the risk as in the martingale strategy.

In the system called Reverse Labouchere System, which is played with the opposite rule of this system;

• 1 As you win, you add your bet to the end of the series.
• 2 As you lose, you delete the two digits to the right and left of the series.

With this system, you manage your loss in some way, so as you lose the series as you lose, you go to minimize your loss.
